LumaCare is a scheduled, private daytime/outpatient service. In the event of an acute crisis, danger to life and health, or immediate medical need, you must contact the medical helpline at 116 117 or emergency services at 113.
Appointments and Cancellation
Appointments are confirmed in writing prior to booking. Cancellations or modifications must be made via SMS or email at least two business days (48 hours) before the scheduled appointment. Sessions not cancelled within this timeframe will be billed in full, regardless of the reason.
Payment, Invoicing, and Debt Collection
LumaCare Mental Helse is a private clinic and does not operate under a public reimbursement scheme. Consultations are to be paid in full by the patient, unless a written payment guarantee has been clarified and approved in advance.
Payment is typically made on the same day via a secure payment link. If the payment link is not settled within the deadline, an invoice may be issued. Failure to pay may result in late payment fees and debt collection in accordance with applicable regulations.
Package Plans and Structured Care Pathways
Any applicable package pricing is evaluated after the initial consultation, once the ongoing care pathway and recommended frequency of follow-ups have been determined. A minimum of two sessions within the same calendar month may qualify for package pricing where agreed upon.
Insurance and Third-Party Payment Guarantees
If you have health insurance or a payment guarantee from NAV, Child Welfare Services, or any other public authority, coverage and payment liability must be clarified in writing before treatment commences.
Complaints and Patient Rights
Patients may address any dissatisfaction directly with the clinic. You may also contact the State Administrator (Statsforvalteren), the Patient and User Ombudsman (Pasient- og brukerombudet), or the Norwegian System of Patient Injury Compensation (NPE) regarding matters concerning patient rights, healthcare provision, or potential medical injury.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be adjudicated by the Oslo District Court, unless mandatory statutory provisions dictate otherwise.
